Currently, some Samsung phones (S7, S8, Note 8) updated to Android 8, have been alerting that Wildix Collaboration App has been detected using Microphone. This might happen due to the new feature which is called App Permissions Monitor. The feature sends notifications even when the App is in background and the microphone is not used.

To prevent this from happening, follow the next steps:

Step 1

Go to your phone’s Settings and select Lock screen and security:

Step 2

Tap App permission monitor:

Step 3

Select Wildix from the list of available applications:

Step 4

Turn off the Microphone by tapping on its toggle in Monitored permissions list.

Note: Wildix Development team is working on solutions to avoid random messages from Samsung App Permission Monitor.
